Tetrasodium iminodisuccinate (IDS) is an efficient green amino acid chelating agent. Due to its better chelating ability than EDTA, it is easily absorbed by plants, has good biocompatibility, and is easily degraded. It is recognized by the industry as an ideal substitute for EDTA in the 21st century and is called a fertilizer enhancing chelating agent.
1. Complexing agent and water softener:
Iminodisuccinic acid sodium salt effectively increases the cleaning power of
detergents and cleaning products to scale deposit. Besides, it's outstanding biodegradability to make people use it safely in all kinds of formulations of detergents and cleaning products.
2. Bleaching agent stabilizer:
Iminodisuccinic acid sodium salt could be used as stabilizer in oxidative bleaching of cotton with H2O2 in a variety of processes. It complexes iron and copper ions which would otherwise cause catalytic decomposition of the bleaching agent.Meanwhile it is water softener for water pretreatment.
3. Fertilizer micronutrients: Iminodisuccinic acid sodium salt can be used to produce readily biodegradable microelement nutrient chelates fertilizers that are applied in agriculture and horticulture as foliar sprays, in soil application as well as in hydroponics and fertigation.
