thinkdo_calvin@126.com/thinkdochem@126.comSodium salt of iminodisuccinic acid, a highly efficient green chelating agent. Excellent metal ion chelating ability, widely used in multiple fields. Good biodegradability, environmentally friendly and non-toxic. Assist in improving product performance and provide reliable, innovative, and sustainable solutions for your industrial and environmental needs
Tetrasodium iminodisuccinate (IDS) is an efficient green amino acid chelating agent. Due to its better chelating ability than EDTA, it is easily absorbed by plants, has good biocompatibility, and is easily degraded. It is recognized by the industry as an ideal substitute for EDTA in the 21st century and is called a fertilizer enhancing chelating agent.
Iminodisuccinate sodium salt is a water-soluble, biodegradable chelating agent derived from renewable resources. With its outstanding ability to bind with metal ions such as calcium, magnesium, iron, and copper, IDS (also called IDHA, sodium of iminodisuccinate, or sodium iminodisuccinate) plays a critical role in enhancing cleaning, bleaching, and fertilizing processes.
Excellent biodegradability and eco-friendliness
Non-toxic, making it safe for household and industrial use
Strong chelating power with high complex stability
Easily absorbed by plants, increasing nutrient efficiency
Ideal alternative to EDTA in many applications
1. Complexing agent and water softener:
Sodium salt of iminodisuccinic acid enhances the efficiency of detergents and cleaning products by preventing scale buildup and improving overall cleaning performance. Its exceptional safety and biodegradability make it ideal for modern, eco-friendly formulations.
2. Bleaching agent stabilizer:
Iminodisuccinic acid sodium salt could be used as stabilizer in oxidative bleaching of cotton with H2O2 in a variety of processes. It complexes iron and copper ions which would otherwise cause catalytic decomposition of the bleaching agent.Meanwhile it is water softener for water pretreatment.
3. Fertilizer micronutrients:
IDS is widely used in agriculture to create biodegradable micronutrient chelate fertilizers for foliar sprays, soil applications, hydroponics, and fertigation. Its superior chelation increases the availability and absorption of trace elements by plants.
